I posted a couple of photos of steam engines being driven through our village to where they are being stored. Well today you can see where they are kept and the gathering of them at the club show.
I can hear the whistles in my mind. Great engines, Bill. Did you see my post about the overturned boiler remains in the Smokies? Some of my favorite shots and definitely one of my favorite hikes. Titled Grapeyard Ridge to Injun Creek from April 2012.

Just read it, amazing it is still there and it looks n good condition but no doubt it was not worth the cost of recovering.
My son would love to see this!
If he had been here Saturday he could of and I might have been able to get him a ride in one.
