St Margaret, St Magarets

 

This week the Church Explorer visits St Margaret, St Margarets to see the stunning rood loft and screen

This weeks photos are rubbish I'm afraid as I have not had much time to sort out anything. These are from couple of weeks ago on out way to Wales when we stopped for a quick break

We stopped off at Delamare services on the M4 going to  Wales, that is part of the car park where you can charge electric cars, not doubt at and exorbitant price

Just over there is where you can get food and drink, I cannot say it's the nicest of service stations I have been in

  The charging station again, solely Tesla's just beyond is where any one can charge their car

Dore Abbey

 

This week the Church Explorer visits  Dore Abbey a magnificent looking church which was part of the old Abbey

Taken back in March when we first got back to our caravan t check it out from the winter storage

Taking the dog out for a walk a quick look up the lake confirmed the swans were back

The lake was quite reflective

Near the end of the jetty

After walking up the hill and back a look up the valley to the Radnor hills

Last look at the lake on the way back

St Martin, Cwmyoy

 

This week the Church Explorer visits St Martin Cwmyoy the most crooked church  I have ever seen and lives up to it's name as the Most Crooked Church in Great Britain

From Wales last month when we took the dog round the lake, SkyWatch was foremost when I took the photos

Some of my roses

 

A few of my roses in the garden, sorry I forgot most of the names of the roses and there are more in the garden I have not shown. They have come out a couple of weeks earlier but they will need dead heading in a short while.

 This what I see every morning out of the kitchen window though I did take the photo from the back door to show it all. The little fence is to keep an eye on the dog, The yellow rose in Malvern hills and grows all along the fence. The purple in the background is Veilchenblau I love seeing this each year and the sparrows love it
