Inside the woods



Millennium wood was planted in 2000 and  you can see how much it has grown in that time from the two photos below. Over that time paths through the woods have developed and are used

  One of the paths is over to the left by the plaque

The other is on the other end of the wood to the right of the photo

 The other day I took a couple of photos in the wood from the paths, it was easy to see through the trees now the foliage has died back

All the path converge here to cross the stream that is behind me. Springis on it's was and in a few months you will not be able to see the woods till the winter comes around again.

I'm so happy they planted the woods. I do love trees. Where is Millenium Woods? Like your photos!

Many trees were planted for the millennium, so it is good to see how well they are doing. We can never have enough trees.
