Well you might have noticed I missed the posts during the week because I took a couple of days break in Wales but I did not forget to take some photos for Skywatch and the sunrise was the subject.
On the way up the hill I watched the sun rise over the hilltop
At the top of the quarry we looked across the top of the mist
Further up we looked down on the mist
I'll leave you with this panoramic shot of from the top of the quarry. All the photos were taken on my iPhone
Happy Skywatch

Is that dew drops on the fence in the first photo? Beautiful!!
Wow is all I have to say. What great scenic photographs you took.
So did I
I think it was wool from the cows & sheep in the field
What can I say to that, thank you
Such beautiful sky photos. Wow!
Very poetic. Much more poetic than recent scenes from the North Pacific Coast where I live, which looked familiar but were full of smoke instead of mist. (For days on end.)
Here's hoping you don't have to deal with that in the UK. Thanks for the post!

Hello,
Lovely series of sky captures and views! It is great to on a little trip, even if only for a few days. Enjoy your day!
These misty morning shots are lovely. I love the very first one with the sun peeking over the hilltop and the trees barely visible thru the mist.
