Agapanthus



So we planted these lastyear or so but they never came to anything till I noticed this flower growing in the flowerbed looking like  a seeded onion, it then flowered and turned into this Agapanthus, boy was I chuffed seeing it come up at last






Hopefully Next year I will have some more

  5. According to the woman at the Cambridge Botanic Garden it's a very good year for Agapanthus - one of the few flowers that thrive in such hot dry conditions. Your flower is obviously listening to what she says.

  6. About 10 years ago when I first moved to the house I used to live in in Phoenix, the former owner had a set of large flower pots on the patio that I kept and re-planted. I think it was my second year there that this very same flower popped up one day looking quite pretty. I never knew what they were but, someone must have planted them way before I moved in. Now I know!
