P is for Peppard

Yes there is a place called that not far from Reading though I have to admit it is easy to miss while driving through The correct name for the place is Rotherfield Peppard but people just call it Peppard

The photo here shows Peppard Common with a smattering of snow when I visited a few years ago

It also had a school which is over to my left out of sight, the road here leads to the All Saints Church

It's half-time in the Cup semi-final and I rooting for Reading a place I've been through many times. Peppard I had not heard of before. You blog photos are making me realise that I don't visit many places now.

There is something peaceful about these photos. Nice rural setting. Visiting from AtoZ.

I guess if it's big enough for a church and school, it at least merits a place name.
