Those windows are amazing! What little snow we had is gone now and it looks like we're going to have a black Christmas and New Year. I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The windows are in http://graveplace.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/st-mary-le-more.html and are just a couple of them in the church. We are just getting wind & rain but at the moment it is sunny outside. Hope you have a good Christmas & new year no doubt it will be white

Beautiful stained glass window and they did a wonderful job with the silver trim on that tree.

I did I thought there might be a tree in the church worth photographing and I was pleased the chancel window was lit up. Have a good Christmas

Billy Blue Eyes said...

Yes I though it was a nice job on the tree. I wish I had brought my DLSR to get a better photo of the lit window

I always find it strange seeing christmas trees in churches but that's how the pre-christian solstice was brought in and now it is lost in the commercialism.

Billy Blue Eyes said...

Thanks Yamini

Billy Blue Eyes said...

Yes a lot of Christmas is lost in commercialism now more is the shame

I just wish I'd taken my DSLR and tripod in but had the compact & two bags of shopping. I loved how the altar looked so had to try and get a photo of it

Yes it is a bit like the rest of the church
