Wet Day for a Coffee

While walking round Wallingford I could not help stopping and taking a photo of these empty tables at the Old Post Office in the Market Square

Looks like some one was brave enough to venture outside
Have a good day

loving the Wallingford photos as i clearly remember being there in the summer. As you can imagine there was no free tables then so I didn't get a chance to sit there and people watch.

Not sure I did that day but I could have done with a coffee

If it were cold and rainy, I expect I would opt for the Costa Coffee but, to be honest, this looks really nice. I'm changing my mind. I've got an umbrella :). (Albeit today - it is quite windy...ha ha!)

this is something that really struck me since my return; UK's attempt at the al fresco!!! Sydney, yes. Ipswich or Wallingford, not so much... Great clear shots though; the one with the coffees has a kind of haunting sadness about it. Cups are hot, nobody sitting. YAM xx

A wonderful snapshot on a rainy day. Here it´s cold outside. I think, we get snow today.
Best regards, Synnöve

Some people, «Louis» among them, will weather any storm for their caffeine fix!

Very windy today but no doubt some people are braving it

Billy Blue Eyes said...

Well the place is paced on a fine or sunny day

Billy Blue Eyes said...

Well it was a couple of weeks ago Synnöve I dare say people are sitting outside today

Billy Blue Eyes said...

Yes I'm a bit like that though I draw the line sitting outside in the rain

It looks like someone braved the wet weather to have coffee outside.

Might not be too bad if you had a big umbrella and a towel to dry the chair.

Billy Blue Eyes said...

I thought that or went as it started

Billy Blue Eyes said...

Well I think they put them out in the summer so why not winter

It is when it's sunny

Billy Blue Eyes said...

Usually the tables are full then

Probably wanted to have a smoke with the coffee!

If it as raining it would not have lasted long

In spite of the weather, it does look like a lovely spot to have a cup of coffee. :)
