Welsh Skys

The beginning of  March my wife and I visited out caravan in Wales for a few days. In the evening we went out for a walk with our dog and as usual I lagged behind to get a few photos

The sky's did look a little dramatic

But there was some blue to be seen

The seat overlooking the lake

Looking over the lake at the dramatic part

The downhill towards the lake and the clearer sky beyond

From further up the hill a different view to see

On the way down the last of the sunset could be seen
Happy Skywatch

All these are beautiful captures… Clouds make gorgeous patterns on the sky.

I love looking at the sky and clouds. I make a point of walking my dogs as the sun goes down. I love the reds in the evening sky. I live in the Southeastern United States. It is a wet climate too. I would love to go to Wales. I did the DNA for ethnicity and my big surprise was that I am between an eighth and a quarter Welsh. My ancestor's made it to North America in the 1600's. So it is several who had to be Welsh when you consider how many eighth great grandparents you have. lol.

Beautiful skies. There always seems more variety in the clouds in the west of the country than over here in the often overcast east.

Wide open spaces give us rooms to breathe.

What a serene area and skies just begging to be photographed. It looks like the perfect place to get away from it all. I'm very glad you did lag behind!
