End of January

A couple of weeks ago I posted a blog on Snowdrops which I ended with a teaser of the sky that day which was taken at the local churchyard. That day  followed the sky through the day

6:54 am I looked out and saw the sky starting to change with the dawn of the day

Just after midday I remembered to get another shot.

The clear blue sky was taken a couple of hours later

This kite was flying overhead and playing with another

Sunset was the next at 16:52

Going around to the patio the setting sun was colouring the clouds

Eight minuets later the sky had a punk tint

Happy Skywatch

Wow, what a treat, great skies, and some interesting landscape to go with it, especially the church with a very old looking graveyard.

You had an interesting day. I think most people miss the changes and beauty of the day.

You´ve got some action in your skies. A planet in the first one. An aeroplane in the second one. And a bird on number 4. And all those clouds too. Nice set!

Most people do, they never seem to take time to appreciate things

The church is old having Saxon roots, always makes a nice photo

Billy Blue Eyes said...

Yes that is true

Some of the were a fluke but the kite was a hard one with a compact camera

Hi Bill, What a great way to do an all-day sky watch. This is cool and I enjoyed your photos. You sure live in an interesting location. By the way, I see the link to your review of the SX730. I wonder if you are still using it? I'm still using mine and enjoying the shots I get with it. Happy weekend to you! John

Greetings and Salutations! You sure were busy that day taking sky images. Isn't it awesome how moment to moment changes happen in the sky.
