St Laurence Tidmarsh

This week the Church Explorer visits St Laurence in Tidmarsh, a church I visited many years ago but at the time there was Sunday service so I could not go in. This time on my way back from another church I stopped off and found the church open. To my surprise there was more to see than I thought. Check out the link if you would like to see more.

It is a very nice church...
I like the huge frame that support the bell cote!
Do you also suffer from the storm?

This is the type of church I like to visit and worship in. Thanks for sharing.

The light was one thing I was unsure about but happy with the result

Oh yes, branches blown down,Floods you name it. Very windy around here I was nearly blown over when I went out to get some photos. Is it like that there as well?

It does have a congregation that worships there so your welcome to join in

Though not among the faithful, I do love old churches. So much history, both in the building itself and in the centuries of the faithful coming here to worship with their families and community. Lovely photos of the interior.

You do not have to be faithful to appreciate the architecture and history of a church
