This retail part opened some time in the 1970's and has a been a very popular place for people to go. on a recent visit I was shocked to see this store was closeing
Looking around the rest of the place looked busy
The building which is closeing has been there under various owners as a DIY store since it opened
The whole block you see belo will be demolished and a new low cost supermarket built
We just lost a little bit of history and a very useful place

I hate to see these local stores close and the big corporate chains move in. Seems to happen everywhere, and you do lose a little local history.
You wonder if the new place will really bring in that much more business.
I hate the "store closing" sign.
Worth a Thousand Words
Good one.
Several stores (here a long time) have closed in the last few months. Sad to see them go.
Have a great weekend!
The "Store Closing" sign makes me sad :( But the beautiful clouds gave me a feeling of hope!
It hard for mom and pop or small franchise to make it. But could there be possible rain on it way.
Coffee is on
The sky is so beautiful, and all that we have built below it changes by the whims of someone.
It makes you wonder who makes these decisions.
You are right I father used to go there before I did
Might do I was told it is a supermaket
This one is not so small and it's not their choice to close
Whims of a consortium who see a way of making more money, does not matter a few people will loose their jobs
Idiots in my opinion
