Incredible needle work. I wanted to thank you for commenting on my Salisbury Cathedral post of last Friday and to ask a question. My understanding, which I am happy to have corrected or clarified, was that Choir referred to the people and that Quire referred to the structure or location within the cathedral where the Choir stood. Is that right? Wrong? Was it ever right? LOL or has it changed over the years? Please clarify. Thanks! BTW, I wouldn't have bothered you with this on your blog post, except that I find no other way to contact you. Sorry. Have a great Monday.

The amount of time and focused attention needed to produce this beautiful piece is awe inspiring. Absolutely fabulous. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
