Yesterday I posted a photo of a lock being opened well on the other side of the lock is the Kennet Navigation which is a canal the river flows past way over to the left. It's called the navigation because the canal was dugout in places alone the Kennet to alow barges to travel between towns quickly and not get caught on the many bends and shallows along the river.

Such calm water! Love the reflections.
Good thing about canals is that they are slow moving so very calm.
