I frequently walk past these allotments and thought the sky threatened rain on this occasion, it soon passed and the sun came out a little later

Supermoon

On Sunday evening I took this photo of the Supermoon, I used my compact on full zoom to capture it
The first few photos were in focus but the last ones were a Little shaky

Later early in the morning I woke up and looked out the window to see the eclipse

It was not long before it started changing red

Then darker and more red was showing

Until it was all red

Some more sky's from my visit to Silverstone Classic event

Two people are strapped in the ball at the bottom and the bungee is tensioned

Off they go to the Blue yonder

High in the air

Then back down they come

and bounce around for a while

Spitfire Friday

Last weekend at the Silverstione Classic  this was Spitfire on display as part of the Battle of Britan display. Silverstone used to be an RAF bomber Base

A while later I heard the sound of an engine and it took a few moment sto realise another spitfire was doing a flypast

An awesome sound

Sky over Cefnlly's

For Our World Tuesday I showed Cefnlly's Castle  I could have also used it for Skywatch Friday but I thought lest show a couple of different views of the place .

The day before I went along with my wife to see how easy it was to climb the hill and took this photo. You can see a spot where it sticks up
This is the spot that stuck up, three people taking in the view, one even looks like he clocked me

After going down to the picnic area I looked up and got this view of the hill.

Think I will finish the week off with some of the amazing sky I saw when I took my walk along the Itchen Way in March if you check the link you will see the villages I passed through and a few more sky's to boot.

This is just outside Avington looking towards the manor

 Further along the Valley

Avington is way back that way
