This week the Church Explorer visits St Mary the Virgin Black Bourton which is quiet a stunning old church this with some medieval wall paintings and beautiful Norman priest door. The churchyard also has one of the biggest Commonwealth War Grave cemeteries I have seen in a village

Interesting how all churches were different and that there were many additions.
I had to smile at your comment today on my post, that churches are different here in Florida than where you are, i think you are in UK. we have no old beautiful stone churches but there is a church on every corner. maybe you have inspired me to take photos of them.
