On Wednesday I took a walk around our village to get an update on some housing construction near us as usual I made sure I got a few with the sky in which was perfect to me
I have been along here many times, it leads of in my case comes from an old local farm
This looks up a road towards where the construction is happening
The housing estate I am waking through was built on another of the local farms. It has take 35 odd years to get permission to build here. I used to live in a place just out of site over along the road where t houses you see on the left are. the part we are in was a field, I think the farmhouse used to be where the house is in the distance
This was a field as well
Here we look towards the main road, there were barns either side here. I will fill you in with more photos and information on Tuesday
Happy Skywatch

Looks like a lovely walk there on a beautiful blue-sky day.
More that I could say for today, it was mostly raining
Where is everybody? Post Apocalyptic. Nice place though.
You know I did notice the lack of people around, apart from a few construction workers I saw no one out for a walk, must have gone on holiday
It's amazing here how fast they build houses and engulf farms and fields.
All the people must be indoors watching the Olympics on TV.
Such a blue sky!
So little arable land, so little foresight.
It looks so nice and quiet.
Beautiful homes, but if I had my druthers, I would chose farmland and barns. That's a pretty sky!
Great sky shot.
Looks like you live in a nice town.
It was that day
You are so right there William
It was that day
Me and you both fell that way
Thank you Jim
It's not a bad place I will admit
Greetings and Salutations! Enjoyed the cyber walk with you today. I've been raised in cities but as I age I enjoy looking at the open fields and barns and we call it elbow room here in the States. You live in a wonderful neighborhood. Enjoy the week end.
If you lived here you would be saying the elbow room was getting less. Glad you enjoyed the walk, more Tuesday
There is a lot of growth here.
Belas fotografias, gostei de ver.
Um abraço e bom fim-de-semana.
