There was a robin in the recent version of The Secret Garden movie, set in England, and I told my husband, "That's not a robin." The bird in the movie looked exactly like this one! Neither of them look like our robins here. Beautiful photos.

The robins there are so different from the ones we have here. I love seeing these photos. Such beautiful little robins they are!

That is because you robin is a was named so by the settlers in the 1700's the European Robin which this is not the same
