Beckley Sky

Rather that show the clouds I took from my garden early this week I though some of the the Oxfordshire countryside more apt being  as I was out visiting some churches near Beckey. Before going on to the last one I stopped to have a coffee that I had brought with me, while drinking it I decided to go out near where I pared and get some photos.

This is what Beckley is know for the Transmitters which serve Oxford and where we receive our TV programs from,  the aerials on the house roofs point in that direction
Across the road you can see across the crops towards Forest Hill
Looking this way looks towards Headington near Oxford
Looking a little left the edge of Forest hill comes back into view
Last look at the transmitter sky

Happy Skywatch

I like that transmitter sky! Looks like a large number of support wires on the tall tower.

We have one of those towers on Sandy Heath, which is where our TV comes from - or doesn't in my case as I don't have a TV! Those grey skies are becoming a little too regular lately.

I like the countryside feeling to these photos. We also have some of those transmitters here too. Nice shots!

Yes they seem to be all over the place

Looks like a lot of open land in these shots, Billy, which is nice to see.
