Another week in the Garden

Another week of lockdown has passed and over the weekend the Potatoes have grown even more  and the runner beans have been planted

The Carrots are still in the greenhouse and look to be growing well

The Tomatoes and cucumbers are really coming on well though a little concerned with the Aubergine though they are starting to grow

Sweet-peas are in the tubs now outside the back door and the roses are now budding well
I was very pleased to see the Agapanthus are starting to flower

I think by tomorrow they will be nearly in flower
I will leave you with this picture of the first rose to come into bloom
It's called Blue For You.

  7. Good job with the container garden! Mine is in the ground and a bit farther on, as you'd expect in the hot part of California.

  8. I think it's so good to be self sustainable with growing your own veges etc, at least you know how they were grown and what's gone into them.
