such things seem to be quite common - no wonder some women have wardrobes full of them
I would have to take off a shoe like that after a short while to give my feet a break. The lady will be upset to have lost one though.
I do always wonder about it when I see just one.
I would have left those behind too because they would have been killing my poor feet!
