Further along the Footpath

Remember a while back I showed a photo of a flooded footpath well a couple of days later I went round the other side by crossing over the footbridge and this is what I found

This is the other side of the footpath by Chilton Village
The underpass is in the distance to the right
Even zooming in you can't see the entrance under the A34
But that did not stop me and after finding a way along the bank behind the bushes I got this near to the underpass. The water is probably chest high here. I'll go back for more photos when the water has gone but that will be a while yet.

I just can't imagine being hit by a flood. I hope things get back to normal soon.

Lovely reflections, but the water is still awfully high. A very unusual winter in many places.

Hopefully the recent warm weather will speed up the evaporation.
