A Morris Minor

Now if you come from the UK and your around my age or even younger you will know what a Morris Minor is, most of us will know it looking like this beautiful example which was at a local classic car run The Morris Minor was built between 1949 and 1972 at Cowley in Oxford

You might even remember the traveller with it's wooden parts on the rear quarter. District nurses used both types. I have even see modified versions of both cars

A few weeks ago I spotted a very different version I never knew existed

My first reaction was it was an Austin Seven

Right colour Green

Missing a front seat

Even has an AA badge on the grill
It was outside my old school which is now a community centre / home
The badge on the bonnet (Hood) tells all Morris Minor above is the temperature gauge. The car was built somewhere between 1928 & 1932 . I think it had broken down because when I came back a guy was tinkering with it under the bonnet. Nice looking car.

Traffic Jam Sky

Beginning of May I was updating my project photos when I noticed the traffic had built up on the A34 causing a long tailback but the sky's looked good

This is the Northbound lane, the slip road off is at the end of the traffic to the right, no doubt people were pulling off in the hope of driving  round to the next junction which I have no doubt was worse

Looking Northbound and the tailback from what I assume is the next junction at Milton where there are some serious roadworks going on

About 10 minuets later on my way back the traffic was easing

Up in Flames

This happened a few years ago along the road from my house, the car had smoke coming out from under the bonnet (hood) stopped and the lady got out. within moments it looked like this.

The fire brigade came along and put the fire out though I don't think the car was good for much after.

Z is for Zepher

This last letter had me thinking  And my first thought was for Zebedee spring which is somthing that is used in industry and we have plenty at work  but after  looking  through some of my Flickr photos and noticed this Zepher MkII, which is much more interesting to look at and I'm a sucker for classic cars.
Z also stands for Zodiac like this one below.
Or this Zodiac rag top I spotted at another show.
Taking part in Blogging from A to Z.
After entering Blogging from A to Z at the suggestion of fellow blogger Dana I set out to show a different photo each day representing a letter from the alphabet, at times I felt I would fail but I have made it to the end. It's given me the encouragement to try again only this time I will prepare in advance  and have a theme. Thank you to all who have visited my blog and commented I hope you will return.
