The Vyne

As I went to visit The Vyne again this week I thought I would share a few photos with you.  If you want a more in-depth view of the place the click the link at the beginning. The house was built in the 15th century and has had some royal visitors in the past

This is the main entrance off the road which was done in the 17th century, this was originally  the back of the house

The front would have been here on the north side though this portico was added in the 17th century

This was one of the royal visitors now doubt with his latest wife in tow

They would have been entertained in this long room

There are over 400 of these panels in the room each one with the crest of a person the owner was friendly with

The panels date back to the 15th century

This was the view from where we exited the house, I think it is the back of where the cafe is now

Going through the walled garden

Where they grow a lot of produce that is used in the food sold in the Cafe

I'll leave  you with this view across the north lawn
Take care
