Something about the bellows always fascinated me too, but I ended up buying an accordion!
I felt the same way about them. Never could figure out how you played an accordion!
Interesting, but I would guess old bellows would be prone to leaks. Do not take that the wrong way, unless you want to chuckle!
That does look like an interesting old camera.
