Walking through Winterbrook outside Wallingford the other week I passed an information display on the Agatha Christie Trail.
The display is situated at the junction of a road called the Murren In Agatha's time it was Ferry Farm
Not far away you pass her old Front door as she would know it
By the door is a blur plaque telling you who lived here.
The trail takes you to Cholsey Church where Agatha is buried and I will take you along there in the future
Nice to hear about the Agatha Christy Trail. :)ReplyDelete

O prazer dos livros
I've read so many of her books and would love to visit there!ReplyDelete

How wonderful! What a great place to visit.ReplyDelete
A pathway I would enjoy following!ReplyDelete
We have lots of books by her, she is one of my wife's favorites authors. Never knew about the trail.ReplyDelete
I love this, especially that Winterbrook House appears in records from the time of King Henry III, and its most famous resident was the novelist, Agatha Christie, who died there in 1976. I also saw a mention of Dame Agatha in another blog, and plan to go to our local library to find and re-read her books. Thank you for this post!ReplyDelete
An Unfittie's Guide to Adventurous Travel
I do like it when councils (or whoever) put up some information about places that they have ear marked for a particular reason.ReplyDelete
