A few weeks ago I showed some photos of Goring and the floods there. At the time the water was not that high and the place seemed to escape the worst. Sunday I visited again only to find things a lot worse.
I took a photo near the bridge last time and you could see the river, the building on the left is the Old Mill
This is the mill stream which drives the wheel, normally it flows under the bridge, as you can see its under the water.
Goring weir
The Swan, if you look you can see the water being pumped out of the place
Looking upstream towards Cleeve. The Thames is due to get higher yet as there is more rain on the way. Taking Part in Our World Tuesday

High flood isn't funny - but your pictures are beautiful.
What a horrible experience. I hope it's over soon.
Oh no - those poor buildings and people who live there!
Calling by from Our World Tuesday, sadly this is a very topical subject but great photos.
Hope not too much damage is done during the flooding.

You are, as ever, faithful to the record Bill - it is just gobsmacking how much water has arrived this winter for you all down south. Despite all the political posturing too, it has to be remembered that Nature is as Nature does. I pray for relief and recovery for all affected. YAM xx
I feel bad for the people who have water creeping into their homes and businesses.
They are indeed back Bill, horrible isn't it!
Oh boy, you guys just don't get a break! Hope the rain goes elsewhere (it can come to the west coast!)
That looks bad but you got some amazing pictures. Does this happen very often?
This is just awful. With more rain on the way and high winds one again, there is no respite in sight. One person I know who lives near the Thames has said that all he can do is put on his wellies and make his way to the pub! You can't fight Mother Nature!
Terrible to see, imagine if that was your place!
How terrible. I have a friend who used to live in England. He was telling me about the flood just the other day. - Margy
Wow! That is so much water. We have been hearing about the floods here. Hope you are high and dry!
Interesting photos - we have heard about the flood in Australia - good to see the photos.
Hello Spud, your photographs are extraordinary and rather lovely in spite of being a bit grim in terms of damage etc ...
I hope you're all keeping safe in the UK and Scotland, Wales and so on ... do keep safe - will check you out again.
Oh wow....so much flooding over there! I hope everyone is OK!!
I live in Canada now, but checked with kids in Kent. They don't have flooding but Maidstone, nearby, is under water. The UK is really having a time of it right now. Enjoyed your photos.
Found you on A to Z blogging.
Hi Bill,
I simply had to share your blogs on the A - Z Challenge blog. We're featuring photo blogs today, and you've done some amazing work in that area. Oh, these floods! What a sight, and you sure did capture it well! Best to you, my friend. M. J.
Hi Bill,
Thanks for sharing these images of the flooding in England! It is so intense and shocking. Here in Southern California we are experiencing a drought. What we would so for just some of England's rain! Best,
The water must be scary, but all that green is lovely.
