Bus Shelter Mural

Finaly have a new laptop but still working a few things out with it as it is Windows 8 and I need to get my head round how it works. In the meantime I'll start posting again though it will be more of a random Daily Photo for a while.
This weeks Mural I came across a while ago but noticed it on Friday while I was out and passing through a village called Steadhampton. It's a mural painted in a Bus Shelter which looks like it may have been done buy the local school and brightens up a dull looking bus shelter.

  1. Do you know I think that I have seen that bus shelter on some TV show or other! It might be a famous bus shelter! Glad to see you back Bill, I hope that you get your head round the windows 8 thing. Best piece of advice I can give is take your cursor to the top right of the screen and click and you can get a sort of familiar desktop and a sort of my computer page from there! You will figure it out (and much better than I did I am sure), but it needs a lot of forbearance! Glad to see a post from you.

  2. Glad to know you've got a working laptop. It does take a bit of time to learn how Windows 8 works. Really charming mural there. Like the bright colors, the sky, and the horse in the field.

  6. A town within a shelter. Pretty symbolic if you ask me. Glad you found another mural. As you showed us, sometimes they hide. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.

  9. Windows 8 is a nightmare, good luck with it. I follow your first comments suggestion. I put my cursor in the lower left corner, click on the purple Windows icon, then go to the Desktop icon and it's a lot easier. Sometimes I just click like crazy everywhere to try to make something happen. Worst part is figuring out how to get out of something you didn't mean to get in to! No little exit "x" to click on anywhere.
