Hari OM (I'm baaack!) - Cripes, if that's a camera shot, what would you have done with the Canon?! Excellent on-the-go piece and full of the atmosphere of canaling.

I've always been fascinated by the landscape on the british islands. This year I've read through the Saxon stories by Bernhard Cornwell (in english, which is a bit of a challenge to me...) and the interest has increased. Now I'm wondering, are all your photos shot in Wales? I've looked at some of them, and here is a lot of beautiful views!
Ah no though there are boats like that which are used on the Kennet. It is used to live in and many people do all the time. Boats like this were used to transport goods along the canal till the railway made it less profitable. People bought the old boats and converted them to live in. (like and RV) now it is very popular and through the summer you can see them going along the canal.
My photos are taken all over the place it's just I like Wales and go there when I can. Not read ant Bernard Cornwell though I must. The area I live was used by Saxons as there have been many finds round here. Our local church dates back to Saxon times and the next town still has its Saxon earthworks. Have a check of my other blog for the castles

I need to go back so I'll take some though I have many already, the camera phone gives some good results.
