A photo from 1966

This photo was taken by my Father back around 1966 at Bovingdon Tank Museum, since then I always wanted to go back and visit again

It was 47 years before I returned
Have a great Weekend.

I just realized you were asking why we were leaving our home and not why I was leaving Stoughton! We plan to sell our house and become full time rv'ers when we retire. I have no interest in having a permanent home now that the kids are grown, wish I was leaving today!

Oh my word I am a mass of goosebumps Bill... I have been there with my father but it was 1972! I recall it having a lot of 'feeling'...(it was one of those crazy camping trips of 4xkids ages 4-14 and two adults in a Dormobile campervan......oh yeah!)

Gosh I still wonder at grown men submitting themselves to such enclosed spaces - these and submarines.

I note the sky in both photos is tending to cloudy and cloudier! That, you and the similar model tanks all tying time into one moment. Love it!! YAM xx

Sometimes when we finally go back to a place, it isn't as great as we'd thought the first time...but from the look on your face, this must have been even better than the first visit. And that's wonderful!!!
