The day after Christmas Boxing day I went out for a walk to see what the walk around the new estate was like and I managed to wintry sky shots
The developers had their eye on this field to build over 500 houses on, The village objected and they lost planning only to appeal to the home secretary. He did not uphold their appeal and they lost, we won for now. I have no doubt houses will go on here eventually

Nice photos on your walk. I'm glad you have regulatory pushback on new subdivisions. We don't have that here so contractors just build wherever they want to do so.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your (at least temporary) win. There is very little open space left where I live, and one city just pushes into the next. And still they want to build more!

ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful sky. I'm glad you guys managed to stop development for now because an extra 500 houses will add a lot of people. However, I know that eventually all good things must come to an end.
