Back in Wales

Went back to Wales last week to stay overnight in our caravan, we managed two walks  up the hill in that space of time. First one a little while after we got there and the second the next morning. it would have been three but with a storm coming in the next day we decided the best thing was to go home early and miss the heavy rain.

The morning looked very promising from our caravan door
The campsite had also gained a new reception
We started off and the firsts stage was to get to a farm gate leading to the hillside beside it is this ditch which has gained a new fence to stop sheep wandering in the ditch
The opposite way you can look up a gully in the hillside, it's steeper than it looks here
This is the first steep section going to the quarry, it makes your legs ache
It gets worse, you can see my wife in the distance with the dog pulling ahead
Looking back down you can breath a sigh of relief  for a short while there is another long section yet
Which is finishes around where I'm stood
Another 20 minuets walking later you can look down to where we started on the campsite
Friday I will show a few of the views in Skywatch
Take care

It looks like beautiful countryside in these photos. I know so little about Wales - enjoyed this very much.

A long steep walk but worth it for those views.
