They were on the apple tree and the little lighters are bad news the bigger ones are ladybird larvae and are eating there way through the pests, First time I have seen them doing this

Is this bad news? I hope you weren't planning to eat those. The insects seem quite happy.

Go lady bugs go! They love them their aphids. They actually sell them live by the bag here to spread in garden beds.

oh wow the poor plants being so infected, hopefully the ladybirds eat the nasties.
I guess those bugs have got to eat something!
