A month or so ago I was in a village called Wheatley near Oxford and visited a church called St Mary the Virgin I only had a Minuit or so inside the church as it was being closed up for the night but one of the things I was drawn to and the few photos I took was the backdrop on the altar. It was quite amazing, showing a nativity scene with the Three Kings

A beautiful mural. It looks almost three dimensional.
The detail in the mural is fascinating. I use to wonder what Mary and Joseph did with the gold, frankincense and myrrh afterwards. The star is a neat touch.
It certainly seems three dimensional to me.
