Some more snow scenes from back in 2010, these were taken a couple of days later when the sky was clear.
The icicles were on next doors house
Snow covered road
The pylons were built back in the late 1950's early 1960's as I remember them being built. You can just make out people sledging on a hillside which is what I was doing there in 1963
Boat on the bank by the Thames, the water is not frozen as it is running quite fast
As I cam back to the village a different way the sun was going down

I love seeing the snowy scenes there, and the icicles look very very cold! Take care there. (NewRobin13)
Thank you for showing me sites. One does not see here in Honolulu. Aloha
Oh I love seeing your winter wonderland. We don't have snow or ice here in Florida so I've enjoyed seeing your photos. I would freeze there though! lol
Hi Bill, wonderful pictures. I remember sliding down the hill out near Silly Bridge, down the long slope, during the winter of 1963. Our dad had built us a sledge and had the blacksmith put steel runners on it. It had rained on top of the snow, so there was a solid crust of glazed ice. You could walk on it. The three of us (Dad, my brother, and me) slid down that hill gaining speed until there was no stopping us when we ran into the wire fence at the bottom. Great fun, even if awfully painful at the time, less so at the distance of 60 years. I think we only did it once (lesson learned) ... home for cocoa.
That snow is inviting me to go out for a long walk. Beautiful photos!!

Beautiful winter scenes.
I do love seeing snowy images this time of year when it is so hot here in Australia. Enjoy your week. I am joining you at Mosaic Monday.
Wonderful scenes!
It's Thursday, the afternoon to write my comments. Gray daylight, it's not very inviting to go outside. And I'm happy about another wonderful contribution to MosaicMonday.
Thank you so much for your participation, dear blog friend ... interesting to read! Greetings from Heidrun
Wow! Stunning photos. The snow really did seem to last forever that year. I remember the icicles on our house were enormous. I had a brilliant photo of my eldest stood underneath them.
I'd love for it to snow again, I adore your icicle pictures! Thanks for taking part in my #MySundaySnapshot and for sharing your snaps.
