Trouble in the Greenhouse

A quick update on my blog. Last week I did not post on Tuesday or Wedensday this was because I went to Wales for  a quick break . We tend to go there to our caravan (RV) as often as we can and though I do have access to internet I do not post from there. When I come back I tend to concentrate on the Church Explorer Blog which takes up a fare but of my blogging time to write and publish so if you notice I have not posted a blog the chances are I've gone to Wales.

I have various things I could write for my blog  which I still think of as Our World Tuseday even though that meme is no more  but I though a little look at my garden might be appropriate after finding trouble in my Greenhouse.

 Runner beans growing well

With beans growing, one problem I have is black fly which I spray often to keep then down

My sunflower is not just taller than I am

The greenhouse which as you can see is flourishing

I happen to be looking at some other plants when I noticed my Cos lettuce looked a little depleted. I through the trough outside

After seeing what was in there , look carefully you will see green caterpillars munching away on the leaves

This one fell of and went looking for a leaf, The whole lot resides in my compost bin now

Hopefully they will not get these salad leaves, unfortunately the next day I found they had got in and were munching away so now that lot resides in the compost bin. I have now reseeded the troughs to start again

Or the spring onions (bit strong)

I had sewn more seeds

These Courgettes (Zucchini)were sew late but are growing ok, I put them in the greenhouse hoping the black fly will not get them

Last the chilli plants are doing OK as well just hope they fruit.
Take Care

After all the hard work it is sad to see it being eaten away so quickly.

Those little critters are cute but so destructive! Hopefully, the next lot will fare better.

Thanks for sharing your link at My Corner of the World this week!
