This week as the roses are coming into bloom I thought I would show some of the beautiful ones we have. If you walk around our garden you will always see roses growing, many bought quite a few my wife had grown from a cutting.
The first rose you will see on coming out the back door is this standard one which has a wonderful perfume to it.
Which has a beautiful flower
Looking past this clematis you can see my wife biggest success the Californica rose. We have had this rose nearly as long as we have lived in the house. It was moved when we had and extension and lived in a pot for a while. My wife rescued from nearly dying and nurtured it to what it is now and grew another from a cutting
It has a prolific amount of rose heads
I could go on showing more but I will leave you with our most recent purchase
Taking Part in My Little Corner of the World Our World Tuesday and Imag-in-ing, you can find all the links in the right hand column Take care everyone.

You have a wonderful selection there. You must have lots of colour throughout the summer.
Lovely roses! I must remember to take cuttings from my dearest ones.
Your roses are so beautiful. Love all the colors and the varieties. You really are quite the rose gardener.
How delightful - all of them.
Worth a Thousand Words
These are lovely.
We do but spring is the nicest
Take a few they don't always take
I'm not my wife is the one who takes care of them
They are that
Thank you William
They are lovely. I have few roses, I find them so much work to keep healthy. Or at least mine always did in the past!
My wife has problems with them at times
What a great collection of beautiful roses. When I was single and lived in Houston I had very good luck growing roses. I still love roses even though I don't grow them any longer.
I am having a hard time picking a favorite! They are all so pretty, although I think the pink ones speak to me.
They are beautiful and I love all the differnt colours.
My gosh, these are gorgeous. What a healthy and happy garden you have!
P.S. Yes, I do love wandering around the V & A. I can't wait to do it again.
Beautiful, what is the name of the yellow one? Reminds me of on in my garden named "My Dad". Speaking of roses, mine are pruned for the winter, repotted and hopefully will keep growing through.
Beautiful!
Have a blessed day!
Billy, what a wonderful collection of roses! That is my main love in the garden, so your post brought me much joy! I received a Gentle Hermione bare root a few weeks ago, and fingers crossed that it does good because we have had insane weather. Thank you for sharing!
So pretty! Thanks for sharing at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2021/06/a-visit-to-garden.html
