Sunday was a snow day, first thing in the morning it snowed for a few hours, a welcome sight for some and dread for others. Personally I love seeing snow and have done since I was a kid but with climate change it does not happen often and when it does is not around for long. Once the snow had stopped I had no hesitation in going outside and getting a few photos around the garden before it disappeared.
The patio was well covered as it snowed and sitting at the table did not look like a good ideaAnd the apple tree had a layer along the branches, the bird feeder in the background providing food for Birds when they came down. The snow lasted a few hours but was mostly gone by the afternoon. I'm not sure when we will get more or weather is not so predictable now but at least for a few hours the snow was there to enjoy.

Like you photos, we are have snow today.
WE had about the same amount.
Love seeing the snow there. It really makes the world so quiet and beautiful when covered in snow.
Is always beautiful the first snow, white and innocent!
Snow looks lovely - as long as it's not in my neighborhood!
Thanks for sharing at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2021/01/the-rest-of-indoor-herb-garden.html
Lovely!
Beautiful photos, holly trees with berries really look good in the snow as do rose hips.
Beautiful! I've always wanted some snow.
Worth a Thousand words
Afraid it has all gone now, just drizzle
If you in London still then I can believe it though this morning it has all gone
I love seeing it as well, shame it did not hang around long
Yes it was until the dog ran throught
I'll have yours as well then
It was but no more
Yes I could have done with a photo for a Christmas card
No easy if you live in a warm area
Nice photos documenting a typical English snowfall, though around here it didn't amount to much at all. At least the colder temperatures made the muddy footpaths navigable without waders.
I love the snow photos. You had some on Sunday and we had some yesterday afternoon. It was mostly gone 3 hours later but it was exciting while it lasted.
Pity I remember the snow being deeper and around longer, I doubt the footpaths around here will be so navigable now the snow has gone.
Bit like here then, little left today
Lovely!
I like the snow too - I've never gotten to see it much in my life though
It was, gone now
Not if you stayed in Arabia, not even sure it has snowed there
We had a little blanket of snow also. Like you, I do love the sight of snow, and it is a shame we do not experience it as much anymore. These are lovely garden captures.
The garden is about all I do capture at the moment, no incentive to go anywhere around the village much
It's always so pretty when it first falls. Your photos show it off so well :)
It's so great to see your link at 'My Corner of the World' this week!
