Tuesday the 2nd December meant the Lockdown in England that we had endured for a month had ended, a new day was dawning for us all and we were going to be thrown into a three tier's with most of the country in the high ones. Live would not change much for some. Looking out of the window I noticed a colouring of the sky promising a beautiful dawn
The clouds were tinted with the sun coming up
The kite had the best view though I doubt it cared past the next meal it was looking for
Going upstairs to the bedroom I got a grandstand view of the dawn.
Happy Skywatch

Hi Bill, Beautiful skies. When the clouds are right it is hard to beat the beauty of the sky at sunrise. You captured it perfectly. Take care, my friend, and stay safe. John
I like the purple light on the clouds !
Beautiful colours in your sky captures.
Congratulations on making it through a dark and no doubt frustrating time. Lord willing, a vaccine will be on its way soon. Beautiful morning sky!
Truly beautiful skies there. The view from upstairs is fantastic! Thank you so much for posting these.
Love the colourful glow
oh I hope that you don't have anymore lockdowns there.
Yes you get some beautiful sunrises, I feel lucky to see them when I do.
Yes one of the thinks that I spotted first
Yes they are, cheers you up no end
Soon but I fear it will be a while yet
Yes it is on a nice day
Best bit for me is when it colours like that
Who knows, it's down to the government who are not doing that good a job at the moment
The sky was gorgeous!

First thing in the morning it really does

A beautiful, hopeful sky! Glad to hear you have completed your lockdown. We are just beginning ours (again), so a difficult time right now.
Not sure our new system is a lot better but I feel for you guys there, it cannot be easy
It's a fantastic start to the day, my one today was dark and cloudy, so I praise your view of the sky all the more! Do I see a kestrel high in the sky looking for prey?
Yes it was worth being up for, the bird is a Red Kite about twice the size of a Kestral they are very common around here
these are beautiful colours to wake up to.
