Back in the Greenhouse

Think that is enough excitement with the roses, one still has to bloom but it tends to do that later than the others. It has been a while since I showed how the vegetables were getting on. The biggest disappointment were the runner beans, I put them out too early and the frost got the lot one night

When I checked in the morning this is how the looked, I did try seeing if the could be cut back but the day after they had gone flat so they all went in the compost bin. I have planted more seeds and will have to see if they come up
I did manage to sow the last of the dwarf bean seeds and they have started growing
The Potato's on the other hand are really growing well after being touched by the frost

The tomatoes have now been planted into pot's and are growing well

The Cucumbers were a surprise after planting them in pots they took off and are growing fast
I even noticed a little cucumber growing
These tomato plants are being grown to go outside, beside them the Aubergine's are growing well now
At the back the chillies grow well
 as do the carrots
By the end of the day I had planted tow tomatoes that will go outside in a couple of weeks when it is warmer at night
Before I go one last thing to show you, the first courgette (zucchini) pokes it's head above the soil

Hello, we have been known to have a late frost. We were waiting to plant our tomatoes and herb gardens. Your plants are looking great. Garden carrots sound yummy! Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy new week!

I've enjoyed watching your garden grow. We have too much shade and too many deer to have much success at gardening, so I will have to enjoy yours!
Thanks for sharing at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2020/06/more-quarantine-baking.html

I love to have wildlife but I think deer bight be taking it a bit far even though we do have them outside the village

Sorry the beans didn't survive the frost, but perhaps the next plantings will do better, Billy. You will certainly be enjoying quite the variety of vegetables in the coming weeks. Did I miss seeing peppers?

Well it was a big learning curve this year so next time I will know better

Your garden looks beautiful. We have very much the same stuff growing here, except no cucumbers. So looking forward to our first tomato!

I think you will get yours before I do

What a shame regarding the frost damage to the runner beans. Your other vegetables and the tomato plants are coming on nicely. We never seem to do well with carrots so we concentrate on what we know might be successful.

Your garden looks like it is making good progress. I just planted mine recently, the first in many years but I thought I would give it a try since we all have to stay at home anyway. I had to put a cage over it to keep the deer and rabbits out so we will see how it goes.

Lucky we do not have the problem of deer of rabbits at out place unless someones pet gets loose

Sorry to hear about the runner beans, but hopefully the new seeds you planted will germinate quickly. Your garden looks wonderful. It is fun to watch the vegetables grow and harvest the fruits of the labor. Take care and have a wonderful week.
