Are these migrants? Or are they citizens? We are loving seeing all the migrants stopping along our coastline here on their way back up north from a winter in Central and South America.

We not only have geese in the field, they're everywhere. I would have thought their visa would have expired by now.

They look just like the one who hangs out in the car park where I live.

Lovely pictures, Bill! WE don;t get to see them much in the city where we live but recall hearing many a story where the geese played a major part.

Are they angry ones? :)

I love watching them (and listening to them) when they fly over. Nice captures.

These geese are rare in my part of the world, thanks for sharing, they're so beautiful!

Handsome, but messy and argumentative neighbours.

Hi Bill, These are some neat photos. In that second photo ... I think I saw those geese at Green Lake a week ago. :-) Just kidding. Anyway, I thought of you this morning. While walking around Green Lake I spotted one of the resident (I think) bald eagles. Got some pretty amazing close ups with the SX730. I think our camera is about as good as one could find on the market these days especially considering its size. I posted the eagle pics in today's Johns Island. Already a couple of neat comments and one mentions a good lens. :-) Have a great day Bill!
