This weeks Church Explorer comes from St Bartholomew's chapel in Goring Heath. It sits in the centre of the Almshouses and was built in 1724 by Henry Alnutt who was a Lawyer of Middle Temple in London. The Almshouses are still in use today.
I wouldn't have guessed there was a church inside. On my last trip to London, I spent a lot of time in the temple areas of London. There is so much beauty and history there. I love exploring it all.

Yes it does look very 18th century ish but I like it, I wish we had buildings just as old here.
