Visit from Ophelia

Tuesday we had a visit from Hurricane Ophelia and as a prelude the sky was red from the dust whipped up from the Sahara, this is what we saw in Wales

The next day after the storm the sky looked like this

A beautiful end to the Storm

Lovely pictures! Beautiful colours. Ophelia didn't visit my city, but she and dust from Sahara gave wonderful colours too.

It is amazing how fast the cloud formation can change. Glad you were spared any bad stuff.

I live in Florida and am all too familiar with hurricane weather. I hope the storm wasn't too terrible.

The dust has an amazingly beautiful response in the sky. Hope everyone is well.

That is a pretty end to the storm with the pink skies!

Such a contrast between skies, the before one looks foggy and cloudy and the after ones look alot more colourful and clearer.

I saw it heading your way. I was trying to figure out who was impacted and by how much.
