The boots don't look too worn. You wonder if someone left them on their car roof after a hike, changed to other shoes, got in, drove off, and forgot to put the hikers into the car.
I happened upon a pair of kid shoes similar to this in the park last weekend. Weird and kind of creepy. They were Nikes, too, so I felt sorry for the parents because they couldn't have been cheap...
