Goring Weir in the winter sun after all the rain we had, the Thames is flooded but not as high as in other times I have seen it. Goring lock is over to the right

One of my favourite places by the Thames. The water does look very high.

It's a lovely place to sit and think.
From the look of the lock, it's very similar to the canal locks here.
