Here in the UK the 5th November is famous for Guy Fawks night or Bonfire Night when we let off fireworks. The bonfires date back to the Gunpowder plot and after the King proclaimed we should celebrate with bonfires ever 5th November and the tradition had carried on. Usually the weekend either side of the 5th is when the big organised displays are on so last Saturday night my Wife & I watch the one from where I work from the hill overlooking the site. Here are a few of the fireworks I saw. Forgive me but it's the first time I have taken photos of fireworks.

These are fabulous photos of the fireworks. Guy Fawkes day used to be celebrated in Newfoundland until recently. Maybe it still is. Friends of ours hosts a Guy Fawkes bonfire one year and invited several Newfoundlander friends. It was a lot of fun but quite cold. Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment.
