Llywelyn mural


This is one Mural I had to go back to get new photos of, it's called the Llywelyn muraland is in Builth Wells. You are gretted by it as you drive into the town.  Llywelyn the Last who was killed locally in December 1282 by the English under Edward I in a village a few miles away.

The top left is a Carn which is beside the road near where he was killed in Cilmery

Even though it is a nice alliteration, kind of sad to be called the Last. Looks like it was bitter cold the day he died. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
