I is for Issenbard

Isambard Kingdom Brunel one of the greatest inventors the UK has had. He built the Great Western Railway (GWR) which passes over this Bridge called the Moulsford Viaduct. Out of the three bridges which take the GWR over the Thames I think this is my favorite. The bridge is built skewed which adds to it's beauty. The Thames Path passes under it on the opposite side in the photo.

The bridge here is called Silly Bridge and if you look the lager arch is the original broad guage arch of the GWR, in the distance is Cholsey Station. Brunel would have been 207 years old on the 8th April.

I'd love to take a walk along that path under the bridge!

What a cool building! What is that you see to the left, the railway?

If you mean through the centre arch in the second photo it's the waiting room.
