A is for Abingdon

View towards St Helen's church in Abingdon which is now in Oxfordshire but used to be the county town of Berkshire.

Taking part in the A to Z challenge.

My grandparents' house in Brisbane was called Abingdon, I assume from the road she used to live in in Glasgow. Enjoying the Scottish tour as I've not been up near Dundee.

I would assume most roads named Abingdon are from the Town above. Loved your last blog.
