More from Oxford

A few more from around Oxford, this is the last but one as next week I will show the Sheldonian Theater

Another view from the Westgate terrace

This is part of the terrace, it's full of restaurants and places to eat

One of the Ox from the Ox trail this one is Finding Alice

You got it Alice in Wonderland

Turl street I'm going to the Lincoln Library which used to be All Saints church, the spire you see

Carfax tower, it's all that remains of a church that stood here, the tower would be at the west end of the church which would have come over towards the road. If you look at the clock you can see the out line of the old Nave roof.

This was a mistake I took while walking down Queen street

Last one, the castle mound. Built around 1071 by Robert D'Oyly following the Norman Conquest. Originally topped with a wooden palisade, later replaced by a stone keep. It features a surviving 13th-century well chamber inside. People used to stand or sit on the hill watching the Executions at the prison next door. it's nicknamed Hangmans Hill. Take Care
